Talking about Art, Fashion and Design

Talking about Art, Fashion and Design - By PrO_RaZe.

Thanks to YouTube for recommending more and more amazing videos based on Art, Design and Fashion that I'm developing more interest and love for it. Yesterday I didn't watch any movie but spent most time watching these amazing videos on these topics, I've subscribed to more channels to get more exposure on this.

Art is everywhere and when you start to know more about the artists who make it and how much creativity it takes to do it, you start appreciating it more. Everything around us was imaged by an artist and his mind with his ideas and then that is how it was made. Be it a famous expensive painting or the clock at your home, or the clothes that you are wearing and the bed you are sleeping on. There is design and art everywhere, and the art and design of fashion is just so brilliantly beautiful. Luxury brands like Chanel or Louis Vuitton, they are expensive because of the quality they produce and their hand crafted materials.

It takes a lot of effort and a very creative mind to produce it. It takes thousands of hours. Just now i finished watching a video on hand bags or the IT bags, and how they changed over time and how much they influenced the world. Famous personalities wear them, get photographed and get publicized and they make that piece of art become iconic. Because a famous person wore it or used it, people who follow them wants that too. And of course all this comes into role because of Media. The field I'm studying on in college but they aren't teaching me that, I'm teaching it myself. Famous luxury brands produce products and other brands follow them, because they are trend setters. They create the trend which the world follows. If you have the power to control it, you have the power to control the world in a way.

Also fame has way more power than people realize. Any publicity is good publicity is very true. I've never bought a product from a luxury brand ever in my life, I'm just not that rich yet but one day I definitely will. One of my present quarantine goal is to study more on fashion, art and design. Watched a video yesterday where I learned that simple basic looking paintings which I couldn't even understand in any way were being sold for millions of dollars, my mind was blown away. It felt like the artist just did a few stroke of brushes as it felt like and that was it, it's now worth millions of dollars. It is pretty crazy, but one artist said that art was never meant to be beautiful actually. If you can sketch a super realistic face by pencil, it won't be worth millions because it is not that impact making. You can just take a camera and click a picture, paintings like that were more appreciated when cameras weren't invented. At that time paintings and art depicting real life were more valuable. I kind of got that.

Now we have cameras and advanced technology, we got so many filters that we can produce any type of art by taking a picture and applying filter to it. That's it. That is why art of present days are so different which is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars or millions. They have to tell a story in a different way with deep meaning. They don't have to resemble something in real life. Now I'm not a certified painter or artist which can understand meaning behind every art or painting but the famous people who make it and people who buy definitely do. You can say my 2 year old son can draw the same but bro, okay. I think it has to do something with who painted it, a famous painter who is very reputed and his creation will be worth very much. But to even get to that level, it's not easy. It's also true to say that when a famous artist dies, his work is recognized more. Not just about any painter but you can take someone who makes music for example . Happens a lot. Controversy plays a good role too, if your work is controversial people will talk about it and more will know.

I've been watching plenty of videos of Louis Vuitton especially the Men's collection fashion shows and behind the scenes of it. I seriously love Virgil Abloh's mind. I think LV has some of the best collections I've seen so far, he makes things that I would really love to own and wear and the brand itself is so valuable on its own. Apart from collections, I love the atmosphere they create for the shows having a theme and then the music, the models are so beautiful showing diversity. They are handcrafted and with the amount of detail they have from the best designers, I get the price they set for it. It's incredibly beautiful. I'd love to own LV collections. The BTS videos are the best because then I get the feel of how they manage the shows and prepare for it. It takes a lot of effort and creative mind. Huge respect for these designers and artists man. LV is one of those brands which makes me understand brand value. The handbags from LV are one of my favorites, I am not even a girl but I love the beauty of it. Like so beautifully designed and crafted with the colors they use. If I was a girl man I'd love to own a lot of these, girls are lucky they have so many options to choose from lol.

Watches, personally I love watches too and the luxury ones like say Rolex which I watched a video about, I think it's one of the most recognized luxury brand of watches easily and the level of quality detail they have is beautiful. They are designed so amazing and then the amount of testing it takes before it reaches the market, it justifies the price with its brand value. I never thought it would actually take about 1 year to make a Rolex watch. Yea right it takes about a year and so much time is spent on making it and perfecting it that it really blows my mind. It's for a watch I mean. You buy a watch today and it should last for a life time if you take care of it, and then the older and rarer it gets its value increases which is another awesome thing because there is this huge market of collectors who love to own pieces like this. They will pay you even millions for it. Things like this makes me want to take care of the collectible things I buy or get from time to time because who knows how much it will be worth after some time. Being a collector is a great hobby, be it a collector for watches or any kind of art or even in fashion. Other luxury watches brand I like and heard about are: Hublot, Patek Philippe, Tiffany and Co., Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Armani, Montblanc.. There are way more but I don't really know about it so not worth mentioning. But all these watches are incredible pieces of art with incredible design.

I love colors and I love when they are used properly in fashion and designed but then there is something I love about simplicity too. Simple colors like Kanye West uses in his YEEZY clothing. Be it on his sneakers or clothing line. It is attractive and beautiful on its own, I love Kanye West's fashion taste and style. Dude is definitely a genius artist be it for his music or his clothing. People don't get how much he has influenced the fashion industry since he first showed YEEZY SEASON 1. There are so many brands which got influenced by it and now make clothes and other things similar to his own. Kanye is definitely a trend setter in fashion. Kim Kardashians Skims brand for women is heavily inspired by the colors Kanye uses in his YEEZY brand. Simplicity and comfort at its finest.

If I have to name my fashion celebrity icons, they are: Kanye West, ASAP Rocky, Jaden Smith, Tyler the Creator and Justin Bieber. These people have amazing sense of fashion. Great taste.

There was a video I watched on Kanye West's YEEZY sneaker brand and its value and there was a quote saying: if everybody can get one, nobody wants one. It actually means that something is really valuable only if it is made or produced in limited quantity. The supply should always be less than the demand, because then it creates more hype and people want to have it because of their limited quantities. It's pretty much right for all these luxury brands and expensive art collections or collectibles. And when it has more detail embedded on it, man it takes it to the next level. Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Armani, Balenciaga, Prada, Supreme, Rolex, Hublot and so on, they revolve around the things I have said. That's what make the brand so valuable but it takes a lot of time to get to that level though and effort as said before.

The world is beautiful.
