Just Mercy - Movie Review & My Thoughts with Black Lives Matter (PrO_RaZe Reviews)

CONTAINS SPOILERS

Day 7 (4 September 2020) and wow it's a week now since I started watching movies on daily basis, Just Mercy was a beautiful movie which showed me the side of justice that doesn't really give proper justice to many people. Based in Alabama of the US, Bryan Stevenson a Harvard graduate who decides to do justice for the black people who were pleaded guilty to death sentence which they did not deserve. I mean they weren't really guilty and as the legal system is messed up, they don't get the justice. It happens mostly to the black community which face so many problems and racism, which really sucks.

I mean some months ago when Black Lives Matter moment was at its peak as still stronger than ever, I got to feel this community more. There was a person named Walter McMillan who was pleaded  for a murder he did not commit and was to serve a death sentence, by Bryan decides to help him with other black people and to get them the justice they deserve. The story revolves around that of the movie, this movie was really deep and emotional and after this my love for the black people have increased even more and how messed up the system is. I am not even American but still, we all are humans right living on the same planet right.

Racism makes me angry, it's like everywhere even in India. You see black people roaming and you will notice some Indian trying to make fun of him or her. And then Indian people complain about racist foreigners when they go outside. It's everywhere man. Not gonna lie I've seen racism even in my own family, like seriously. I didn't know much about this topic in the earlier years of my life because I was not taught on that and it felt like it's common but thanks to the Internet my view has changed so much. This movie is based on real facts and the story is true and it's heart touching, it was heart touching seeing Walter's family being so happy when he was dismissed of all the charges.

The joy and emotions attached were so deep. The acting of the cast was so damn amazing. This movie is another masterpiece I've seen in the week. I've known about Jamie Foxx who plays Walter only for the music video he made with Kanye West, Goldigger and today I found he acts too and very brilliantly. Michael B Jordan did amazing as Bryan and basically the entire cast. Loved this movie, I'll rate it 9/10. This movie shows that justice should be served to those who deserve it and Black Lives Matter. It will always matter.

I think every person living on this planet should watch this movie or movies like this. It sends a strong message and emotion that we should all feel. We are all one, we should love each other. I got to know about the importance of a good lawyer too, how valuable he or she is. Every lawyer should work like Bryan, who treated his client and his family as his family and served what they deserved.
