Talking about Black Mirror (Netflix Series) & My Experience With It

Talking about Black Mirror (Netflix Series) & My Experience With It.

*Spoiler Alert Baby* Not going to ruin the stories but still some things HAHA.

I don't really watch movies or series that much but still when I do, I pick them very nicely because I know I am going to spend quite a lot of time on it. Black Mirror is one of those series I found on Netflix. And I finished the series completely yesterday, with no episodes left to watch anymore. Kind of sad. I remember back in 2019 January I think when I was doing Hotel Management and I was living in PG with cool roommates, Netflix was a good way to pass time and it suggested me this Black Mirror Bandersnatch film quite often, like where ever I scrolled or whenever I opened, I see Bandersnatch. So I thought let's give it a try. Some minutes in and I was already blown away by it, the way it was presented. It was the first ever movie I watched which was interactive, like you could decide what you want to do in the movie. You could make your own decisions and the decisions you make progresses the story in a different way, and at every part of the movie I was like damn this is so f***ing amazing. I don't remember much about the storyline because it's like 10 months since I watched it but it was about designing a videogame named Bandersnatch and you played as a white teen. You should try it if you haven't yet and watch it on your smartphone, that will be a better experience.

Now I kind of got that this Black Mirror is some amazing s**t. So I decided to watch the actual series, it had 4 seasons only that time and I was with my roommate, we were gonna watch it together and we did so but I mistakenly watched Season 4 Episode 1 without knowing. I was supposed to watch it from Season 1. That episode was some crazy sh*t too. But yeah I didn't know that every episode of Black Mirror is actually a completely different episode with a different story. Yeah so when I realized that I actually watched Season 4 Ep 1, I thought I missed the story before it but nah. I watched more and more episodes starting from Season 1 and after watching every episode I just used to get lost in thoughts, I was like what the f**k did I just watch, it made me think about the present and the future, it made me think that how the future and the technology is going to change our lives. It made me think about things I never thought of before. I mean the first episode of Season 1, you see a Prime Minister made to have sex with a pig. Don't get me wrong here or get wrong the series. This series shows us the consequences technology might bring to us. It's also not like other series where you start watching from Season 1 and get bored at episode 2 so you give up on the series, As every episode is a complete different story, you will discover about different things. Some episodes are too great, like the most perfect thing ever made and some may get a little boring but I loved every bit of this series. You just need to watch it till the end because that's going to be the best part and your mind will be blown. It showed me humans living in slave like situations, thx to tech, showed how people will be able to see their memories and access any part of it, show others, showed punishment of the future, bringing loved ones back from death, social media controlling our life, virtual reality gaming and worlds, technology getting hacked, dating and relationships of the future and more. The cinematography of every episode is breathtaking, the actors, their acting, music, stories presented and everything makes this series unique.

If you love to watch movies or shows which makes you think, like you actually want it to make impact on your life and thoughts then this is perfect. I'm sorry I think I love this series a little too much. It has 8.8/10 rating on IMDb, 83% of Rotten Tomatoes and well it has good ratings but I understand it's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea. I remember when my roommate said,"I have never watched anything like this".

Black Mirror is dark, do you like dark?
