Being a Skinny Underweight Boy - THOUGHTS OF ARPIT CHAUDHARY PRO_RAZE
7 February, 2019 10:47PM: This one is going to be different, well it's quite late right now but now I am getting a little time to write my next blog post and this is gonna be shorter. I will be just sharing the experiences I had being skinny and by skinny I mean really skinny. It's like being 18 years old, 5'7 to 5'8 inches of height but only around 46kg weight. So skinny that you feel insecure about your own body.
In this world many people aren't fully satisfied with their body, I see people with overweight issues often but being underweight is quite rare if you compare them both. See.. I have always been a skinny boy and the main reason for being like that is because I eat less and hate a lot of daily eating Indian foods, just not eating enough for a proper balanced diet with calories.
When I say that I feel insecure about my own body, I really do. Whenever I see myself without clothes in the mirror, my arms, hands, chest and everything is skinny and bony. It feels so bad that in summers I usually wear full sleeves shirts to avoid people getting see my skinny arms and hands and also my legs with full pants. Although as of present, I have started gaining weight thanks to my increased food consumption so I am hoping that in a few months I will have a good amount of body weight. Most of my college friends my height and my age have at least 70kgs of weight or say at least 65 which is quite sufficient while I am not even properly 50kg. I don't know my current weight right now but I will be checking it soon, I am seeing changes in my body and that gives me self motivation and confidence.
It's quite you know bad when you find out that girls in your class weigh more than you actually do. Many girls have also suggested me that the main thing I lack in myself is that I am underweight and I get that alot from both boys and girls.
I want to be like other boys wearing half sleeves shirt and look good and healthy. Our physical body is something we can work on with proper exercise, care and diet and the happiness boost we get when things go cool is just amazing. Insecurities happen with everyone but to overcome is a greater challenge. These challenges helps us progress further in life, our health is one of the most important factor of our life.
There's something I want to mention, it's quite common with skinny people and they think that they eat enough and still aren't gaining weight but that's not the exactly right case. If you eat more than you burn (calories) then you will obviously start to gain weight. Try adding more food to your actual diet slowly and keep on increasing, maybe take notes of the calories you consume from various foods and add up on them then use this CALCULATOR. and you will get to know on how much calories you need to consume in order to gain weight. You can use similar methods in order to lose weight as well or maintain a proper body weight. It all depends on what you eat, how much you eat and how much calories you burn through physical work. Exercising also plays an important role here. I know this blog post is very different than the others I made but well I can post anything I want on this blog, basically sharing my thoughts that's what I created it haha.
