Forrest Gump - Movie I fell in love with!
SPOILERS
I watched this beautiful movie yesterday (5 January 2020) after feeling really empty because I had finished Mr. Robot Season 4 which was another masterpiece. I didn't know how I spend my time so I thought why not watch a new movie? I opened google and searched for best life movies, opened an imdb website and Forrest Gump was at top. I didn't know anything about this movie, I didn't read a single thing about it. I just started watching it and within some minutes I already started loving it and when I finished it after some hours, it became one of my most favorite movie.
Everything that I saw in this movie was perfect, from acting to life lessons it was a great experience. There was one scene where Forrest has those braces and he was hanging out with Jenny and suddenly some bullies come outta nowhere on the cycle and start throwing stones at Forrest so Forrest starts running after Jenny says him "Run Forrest Run!" and then when he was running his braces popped out and he could finally walk and run really fast. This one scene is actually really close to me and is connected to my childhood, no I didn't have braces on legs. This one scene is actually copied by a Bollywood movie, I forgot name lol but it was similar. It wasn't totally copied but was really similar. I saw that movie in my childhood and I don't know why it just got stuck on my brain, last year I was thinking hard about that scene. Well this is kinda weird lets move on.
I loved the character of Forrest, like everyone thought he is so stupid but as you progress throughout the movie, Forrest isn't actually stupid, the people around him are who think so much thinking they have so big brain and they aren't even happy. Forrest is shown as a simple character who had a few close people but he loved them so much and cared about them. They are his mother, Jenny the girl who he loved, Lt. Dan and Bubba. These four people played a great role in his life. You really don't need too many friends or people in your life, a few close ones do much better than too much.
One of my most favorite scenes was when Jenny ran away from his house and when Forrest found about that the next day, he just started running and running that he ran across the United States. He did that just because he wanted to run but even doing that, he changed lives of people around him and it became a huge news.
Forrest never stopped loving Jenny, it was his first love and he kept it like that. She left him so many times but he still never stopped thinking about her or stopped loving her. He knew his love is true and it never dies.
This is the kind of movie that can change your personality and life if you feel the movie and it's life lessons. This is the kind of movie you feel.
I am reading quotes of the movie right now on the other tab and damn the movie was amazing. I will watch it again in the future. Here are some of the quotes from movie I want to share:
“My mama always said, ‘Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.'”-Forrest
“My Mama always said you’ve got to put the past behind you before you can move on.” – Forrest
“Mama always said, dying was a part of life. I sure wish it wasn’t.” – Forrest
Don’t ever let anybody tell you they’re better than you. – Mrs. Gump
I’m not the smart man. But I know what love is. — Forrest
My mama always told me that miracles happen every day. Some people don’t think so, but they do. – Forrest
Have you found Jesus yet, Gump? – Lieutenant Daniel Taylor I didn’t know I was supposed to be looking for him, sir. – Forrest
there are so many much more but overall, this movie is a MASTERPIECE.
I think I am gonna watch another movie now, lol.
