My thoughts after watching Bollywood movie GURU (2007)
My thoughts after watching Bollywood movie GURU
I finished watching another Netflix movie today (19 November 2019), and well my exams are starting from the day after tomorrow of first semester BJMC. I am supposed to study all day right? No. I study when I feel I want to, so I enjoyed watching this amazing Bollywood movie Guru from 2007. I have mentioned this before in previous post that I pick the movies or shows I watch very carefully or nicely and Guru was an amazing movie. And it kind of feels sad I watched this in 2019 completely when it was released in 2007. I did watch some parts of it on TV when my parents used to watch but that time I had not even a little interest of watching such movies. I mean I was little back then and I had no taste of good content. I read a little about it's reviews and what it is about and thought let's get inspired Arpit! This movie is based on Dhirubhai Ambani, the founder of Reliance Industries. India's biggest Indian tycoon, he had a dream to make his company biggest in India and it is right now. Everyone knows about Reliance or is connected with it here, especially Jio. No worries not going to talk about Jio here.
So about the movie, it had a beautiful beginning from the childhood and it progressed along showing Abhishek Bachchan as Gurukant Desai (Dhirubhai Ambani). Showed how his life was at early times, how he worked under foreign people and then decided to just leave it and start his own business of textile and stuff. Also showed how he met his love Aishwarya Rai as Sujata Desai (Kokilaben Ambani). Showed his struggles, success, happy moments, sad moments... Not going into the story lol but I loved the movie. It's said that dream big, dream as big as you can and don't let anyone stop you from thinking that you cannot dream big. And also believing in yourself, enough that you can achieve those dreams. It was really inspirational and it touched that part of my self which also dreams big. I have some really big dreams too for this life and it kind of fueled it you know... I want to make some impact on this world too and be known by people. I am 20 years old and I think I understand the value of some things I never did of before, and I have a long life ahead. It's 6:00PM already, 19 November 2019. Exam is on 21st. Should I go and study now? lol.
Oh and about some positives about Abhishek Bachchan, he did some really great acting in the movie and so did Aishwarya. I loved both throughout the movie and the way they presented themselves, it was beautiful. I was feeling it. I think Abhishek has quite a lot of potential in himself but he doesn't get the opportunity to act in some good scripted movies. He is underrated. I even followed him on Instagram haha cool. I literally enjoyed watching the movie and I bless both Aishwarya and Abshishek for some good movies in the future maybe? They deserve it. That's it. Thanks!
