Brand Power of Apple and Its Products - My Views on iPhone, iPad, Macbook etc.
21 February 2019 6:25PM : I was thinking to to write this blog post on my tech blog but rather writing this here. I will basically giving my views on the brand power of Apple products. I watched Steve Jobs movie on Netflix a while ago and also read more about him. My respect for him increased and motivated me to write this blog post. I am completely biased with Apple products on this post.
Apple became the world's most valuable company to be worth $1 trillion back in December 2018 and I think it still is. Their products are such beautifully designed that they are an piece of art. It all started in the garage and now being the most valuable company, currently they have a lot of haters as well. People say that after Steve Jobs passed away, they are no more innovative or creative and that they are falling under Tim Cook's leadership, they are expensive and aren't value for money. But I think Apple products have been a symbol of social status since starting, they are the products of refined quality. They are beautifully designed and that makes me fall in love with all their products.
The first time I think I came to know about the exclusivity of Apple products were when iPhone 5S was launched, there I got to know about there products and that they were a symbol of social status and were quite expensive in that time. First time I witnessed iPhone 5S with my eyes, I was amazed to see its quality and how beautiful it looked, it quickly became one of my dream phones to get. Soon I came to know about the Macbook and I fell in love with it too.
I used to see all famous people like celebrities posting mirror selfies and using iPhones and Macbooks. This increased the brand power, my friends used to talk about how awesome iPhones were and all Apple products. I just wanted to get one. Yeah it's true that they were overpriced but that was one of the reason behind it's exclusivity. iPods were really cool too but I never used iPod. First time I ever bought an Apple product was in 2017 to be honest and it was iPhone 7.
Today, I see so many people hating on Apple that they lack innovation and are just too expensive for what they provide, they say that android phones are much cheaper and powerful and I agree with them on a lot of points but still, Apple products have some kind of magic in them that always gets my attention. Something I just don't feel with Android phones. I feel the products of Apple, I don't know how to put that feeling in words. The phone I use currently is iPhone 7 and last year iPhone XS Max, XS and XR was launched they are just too expensive for me to afford. Whenever I see someone using iPhone XS or iPhone X I feel jealous lol. Airpods are amazing products too, it's something I want. Damn I wish I was rich haha. But there's something I would like to say, Apple really needs to do something creative and different, done in the time of Steve Jobs so that they stand out of the crowd again and get back on the throne. Samsung did quite good with it's Galaxy S10+. Samsung S line products are good and they got a lot of features or lesser price but then again, I don't feel them. Well after everything I said in this post, you guys are damn sure now that I love Apple products so much even if I haven't used them all. Steve Jobs, a lot of respect man!
