THOUGHTS ON FUTURE AI - ARPIT CHAUDHARY PRO_RAZE

So I basically created this blog to share my thoughts about the things I read and experience on the Internet or in real life. Today 30 December 2018 I watched a video named "WHY AI IS THE MOST DANGEROUS THING YOU CAN IMAGINE". You can simply click it to watch the video. At first the guy talked about the dangers that AI could possess over humanity and there were too many fascinating points that just sounds like science fiction but well I really love these things and knowing about them.

I want a super awesome future and I have wild fantasies about that lol. One thing that amazed me in that video was that some years ago Facebook created AI chat bots for having convos with us but instead they put 2 bots over each other and made them talked and after some time these bots starting having conversations in their own language, facebook shut it down after. And its cool that its already happening and happened, we are progressing very fast as a civilization and we made such amazing technological advancements in the last 50 years than we humans did in their entire existence.

There was a Futurist who works at Google and he said that by 2021 we will be making more advancements in 1 year than we did in the past 50 years and its cool because after 2 days we will be in 2019 and then it will be only 3 year apart.

Currently the AIs we have are Artificial Narrow Intelligence and once AIs pass over human intelligence they will be Artificial General Intelligence and they can be thousands or even million times stronger than us. We will basically be creating a God that can be either AWESOME or a EVIL one.

Evil one will eradicate the human existence thinking we are useless to this world, well not will but may depend on his evil thinking. That scenario sucks but we will only focus on the nice AI.
In that video there was a fact that if we put beings in a scale of 1 to 1000 for their intelligence.
Mouse is 1
Dolphin is 8
Human only 10
and AI could get 1000 or even far in intelligence, a nice AI could get us anything and could do anything we wish to get it from. Like solving world hunger, creating new means of transportation like teleportation, even a time travel machine. That AI would be so much intelligent that it could combine and move atoms as their wish and make anything we want to. Living in that kind of world sounds great, just like the AI we would be immortal too, we could by cyborgs or sentient, we would never age or get sick or die and we would be so much more intelligent. Space exploration would be a piece of cake then. Not gonna lie I want to be God myself, god people will call as Pro_Raze. I want to do things for the humanity and make it something I always wished in my brain, i got wild thoughts lmao.

Eladin ss: AI is NOT dangerous.... unless YOU make it dangerous. When will you humans ever understand such simple thing. AI is just a computer. YOU input one thing, and you get a result from that in an Output. YOU put in Bad things... and your output will be Bad things. YOU put in Good things... and your output will be Good things. It is that stupidly simple. Also, the bug that happened. Was actually a very interesting one....and one that you could learn very much from.... But, instead, you deleted it. A true intelligent being would let those computers keep talking and evolving.... but in a controlled area of course. The thing you humans always keep talking about... is called: Artificial Mind. (AM). Also not dangerous even if it is a self thinking self evolving intelligence.

Ron DeForest: AI is only dangerous to the oligarchs of the world. With an intelligent enough AI it’ll be able to take over manufacturing and allocation of resources. That would fire us to live our lives attempting to improve ourselves any way we choose. Live a lifetime of continual learning. We will be able to go wherever and do whatever we choose. It will be amazing. Freed up to evolve our minds. Besides how could it go wrong. After all, humans are a giving loving species. Not like we’re prone to war and screwing each other over, right... oh crap...

JMFSpike: An A.I. has no emotion, empathy, or ethics. It will always go with whatever the most effective solution to a problem is. For example, if it wants to solve the pollution problem, it's going to take out all humans since we are the cause of it. Also, the way in which it takes us out will be done in the quickest, most efficient way possible. However, an A.I has no will and only does what it's programmed to do. If it was sentient though, then it may end up developing a will of it's own, and that's the super scary part. If we don't program it to have artificial emotion, empathy, and ethics to go along with it's intelligence, we'll all be dead in no time flat. It could decide that we're somehow useful as slaves and spare us for that reason, but this is highly unlikely and would only be very temporary. Once it had produced enough other A.I's, either on it's own or having us do it, then it would immediately get rid of us as we'd be obsolete and no longer necessary.

These thoughts are from other people and there are lot of them, i better focus on thoughts of my own. Well I am happy though because I am only 19 years old and people speculate that within 50 years we will make AI smarter than us or even sooner, life is gonna be so different, let's see at which point i reach within the next 5 years. Will my dreams come true? Am I special?
